Five things that make your room perfect!

Want a change in your home’s interior design, but still can’t seem to perfectly resonate with any style? Do you like modern style, but would like it to be as simple and minimalist as possible, but at the same time easily keep it clean and tidy. It’s difficult to choose, but I suggest the following exercise: write down the 5 things that matter most to you, the 5 things that make you feel comfortable and at ease in your room.

For example:

1.Order/ Lightness/

2.Brightness/ dimmer in some places/

3. Plants/ Candles/ Paintings/

4.Warm ambience/ Cool ambience/

5.Open spaces/ Darker space

If order is a priority for you, then you need to have well established from the beginning the things you need in the room and the place for each, it seems difficult at first glance, but you have to establish it once at the beginning, then after each use that thing will easily return to its intended place, and so you will have in the room only the things really necessary.

A room can be brightened up by using light colours for both walls and furniture, doing away with curtains will allow the light to penetrate better and save you extra work.

Plants are ideal for reducing stress levels, but they also require attention, and time is not exactly your best friend, and in this case you can opt for plants that are not fussy, for example orchids, which will fit in very well in a bright room, or the lily of the peace, a very hardy plant and easy to maintain, you can plant them in pots that indicate the water level, it will save you stress and you will know at a glance when to water them.

The warm ambience is given by the furniture items, a furniture that will contain light oak colour, or metal in combination with wood will always give you a welcoming and warm atmosphere, a colourful sofa in pale colours, accessorised with decorative cushions or why not some colourful accessories on the shelves on the walls.

The open spaces are comfortable and allow you to move around easily, the space gives you peace and quiet, and at the opposite end of the spectrum is the closed space that gives you a safe and intimate atmosphere. It all depends on your choices and how you want to decorate your home.

We spend a lot of time in different circumstances and environments, but when it comes to time allocated to us, we need to allocate resources to ease our disconnection and relaxation, if it makes you happy to enjoy a coffee in a quiet, peaceful, bright atmosphere why not do it, at home in the environment created perfectly by you. No one will understand your needs better than you! Stop thinking and start making changes, even if they are small they will make a big contribution to your well-being!
